If they made a It's Howdy Doody Time Movie, I would probably go. When that show said goodbye for the last time I was 12 and I think I cried.

I would be of the age to probably see this one, BUT we had kids so saw a fair amount of Mr. Rogers back in the day. Kids loved it but me---not so much. Maybe the movie would make me appreciate it better though.

We also saw the movie. It was wonderful! Tom Hanks is an incredible actor! We did hear a bit of Forest Gump in his voice. Bring Kleenex.

Loved this movie. 4 stars. Betting that Tom Hanks gets an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. Too bad there aren't more people with half of Fred Roger's compassion, generosity and kindness in this world.

I watched him with my kids. I believe he was on at about 4pm in the afternoon and my children would drop everything for Mr. Rogers. I used to sit and watch with them. A very decent honest man. We could do with throwing out all the politicians and replacing them with Mr Rogers characteristics.

Something to dream about!

Thumbs up

Not what I had expected. Would recommend it highly to Villagers though.
