While Daniel Craig is returning to play James Bond himself, according to this leak, Bond begins the film in retirement and is called back to active duty when a crisis hits.

In the M16 office, he meets the new 007 — not the new Bond, but the new holder of that alias — a black woman named Nomi, played by Lynch.

Not only do people not read, I thought it interesting, as wrong as the thread title was, the need to use skin color shows there are serious defecinies in this identyfing others.....gotta know the skin color, place of origin, or religion. It's truth and fact that a black actress will be playing the new 007. It's all over the media also. I thought you were one not to leave out the facts? No it doesn't matter, and personally I don't give 2 .....s
I stated above it's the end of the Bond brand. There will only be one Bond...James Bond 007.

One Bond, represented by 9 different actors so far, none of whom looked like the others.

So now there'll be another Bond. Except the writers won't pretend that it's the same man, played by different actors who don't look alike at all. This time, it'll be a different Bond, who isn't trying to look like the others.

That would be a nice change. And maybe he will use 001! 001 does not sound as cool as 007, though.

I second that emotion! I was 12 years old when my father took me to see Goldfinger, that hooked me on Sean Connery as Mr. Bond, Mr. James Bond.

Agreed! We started with him and once he wasn't doing it anymore, it just didn't seem the same. Change isn't always the best for certain things.
