Since we watched a truly oldie last week, I'm going to go with something a bit "newer", although it's still definitely a classic. I know you're all waiting with bated breath so here it is...

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969)

That is a great movie with many great lines. And songs as well.

No comments at all on Butch Cassidy? Oh well. Here's my review anyway...

*** Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) ***

Just screams classic for me. Great cast. Wonderful mix of plot and humor. And even though it's very funny, it may even bring a tear to your eye at times. Great visuals. Wonderful music. Every scene can be enjoyed on its own.

I won't go into any more detail on this one. For me, most of the movies I rate really high just don't need a lot of words.

PB Rating: 10/10

Just for the record, you won't see a lot of 10's from me. This movie is special.

For the next movie, I'll pick one from those that previous posters have mentioned and hopefully get a few responses. Stay tuned.

I'm open to new suggestions also. But if you suggest one and then I pick it, I expect a review from you after the pick is posted!

Saw Dracula from 1931 and Bride of Frankenstein (1935) at the Rialto this afternoon. Both were quite good. James Whale had some real talent. James Whale - Rotten Tomatoes
