Saw "The Conspirator" yesterday while visiting my Dad. $5 matinee! Good movie -- especially if you enjoy American history or are a Civil War buff. Excellent performances by Robin Wright as Mary Surratt and James McAvoy as her lawyer. Stayed to watch the closing credits -- most of the movie was shot in Savannah, Georgia. Glad to see there are still a few movies made that appeal to those of us over the age of 30.

It's nice to hear of a good review for this movie.

I read a book that had recorded the sequence of events that John Wilkes Booth did on the day of the asasination in addition to his accomplices that Mary Surratt was included in this grouping. I found the details to be fascinating.

I will definitely see this movie.
