Default Downton Abbey Movie Release Date

For those of you who have been waiting for the "Downton Abbey" movie, the release date is not too far away...9/20/2019.

There was a trailer shown for the "Downton Abbey" movie which was shown before the movie I saw today.

Looking forward to seeing this!

Me, too. The crowd at Doggie Doo Run Run used to talk about this show a great deal and I finally got around to watching every season after the crowd changed from deaths of dogs and people as well as various moves away from the Villages.

But the Facebook and TOTV people have not shifted all that much. So, I can try to stay current with them.

Saw it today with captions for $5. And with a nice sized crowd. The captioned movies on Mondays here in the Villages' theaters usually are not all that crowded.

This late morning probably had 60 or more people. 1/5 full but still good.

I really want to see D.A.---have to find a friend to go with me as my other half never got interested in the series. Heard in an interview one "could" see the movie, but it might not be as interesting w/out the connections the fans already have with the characters. Might have to wait awhile for the crowds to thin a bit......then go see it.

Sissy and I saw it in Leesburg the night before it opened everywhere. LOVED IT ... a couple of scenes in particular. (No spoilers!) If you are a fan of the show you will enjoy the movie.

It does help to be familiar with these characters. Does not make that much sense without that awareness of their various relationships and the like.
