Re: Favorite movie quote?
You're correct Tal.....and it's a cool movie line. Appropeaux for some posts online.
Chuckinca: After I read your last post on this thread, the term "water hazard" took on a whole new meaning. Did anyone ever play the off-limits holes? I'd up for that just for kicks and giggles.....it would be an interesting spectacle knocking it on the greens if they were mined. Snipers? No stress putting out huh? |

They probably did - we were all invincible then! If I wasn't, I would have been zapped a half dozen times doing the stupid things I did then. |

Robert Redford: I can't swim. Paul Newman (laughing) Can't swim! Hell, the fall will kill ya. |
Re: Favorite movie quote?
The best movie line is from "The Sting" Paul Newman goes into the poker room on the train and says, "Sorry I'm late guys, I had to take a crap" It still cracks me up.

Irish Rover,
Wow! thats my favorite quote as well! I remember crying like a baby when Shayne (Allen Lad) rode off into the sunset on his horse. Do you remember the name of the young boy who said that? He was such a cute kid! |
Re: Favorite movie quote?
Nonie,
The kid's name in Shane was Joey Starrett played by Brandon De Wilde. ;) |

Re: Favorite movie quote?
Here's one for you:
"I couldn't do that. Could you do that? How can they do that? Who are those guys?" Paul Newman as Butch Cassidy to Robert Redford as the Sundance Kidreferring to the Pinkerton Detectives in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) Carter (Chris Tucker): "Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?" in Rush Hour (1998) Blanche (Joan Crawford): "You wouldn't be able to do these awful things to me if I wasn't in this chair." - Jane (Bette Davis): "But ya AAH Blanche, ya AAH in that chair!" in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962) |

Re: Favorite movie quote?
Brandon De Wilde was critically injured in a traffic accident in the Denver suburb of Lakewood on the evening of July 6, 1972, while en route to perform in the play, Butterflies Are Free. Swerving to avoid another vehicle, he struck a construction trailer parked on the side of the road, and was pinned under the wreckage of his motorcycle for some time before being taken to Denver General Hospital. He died four hours later. He was 30 years old.
RIP Brandon, you are missed. |
