Thank you, that's the best compliment I've received all week.

I wouldn't waste my time watching. I know how we feel about TV and the life style we have enjoyed for the past 12 years. It's always an outsider who finds fault with us. Remember the moron from Conn. who wrote that we (seniors) should be home watching our grandchildren and not acting like kids having fun downtown etc. Really? Sorry, my real comments would not be printed here.

Waste of time watching biased junk is like watching the news. People will believe anything! Stupid.

Great statistical sample. Pick 3 people out of 125,000 to base your whole story on.

The ICU's across the US are being overrun by COVID patients. As the Premier of Manitoba said 'if you think COVID is a hoax, you are an idiot." The closed minds on this forum never cease to amaze and disappoint.

I may watch it...and the circumstances and life experiences may be somewhat factual. But, I don't know why the location/setting would be a factor? I'm sure all those same circumstances happen all over the country, and in other retirement communities? Agenda???

I have to wonder how and why he zeroed in on three unhappy people in The Villages. I think he had an agenda before coming here.
We’ve lived in The Villages for almost two years. I’ve never seen so many people who show so much goodness, kindness and unselfishness as I have seen here. Every day I read about the unbelievable amount of fundraising and volunteerism in The Villages that benefits those less fortunate in the surrounding communities. The Villagers have been a gift to this area. Shame on that director. I’m happy and proud to live in The Villages. I won’t watch that “documentary” anymore than I would watch pornography. Discernment and wisdom comes, hopefully, with age❗️

To me, when I first got here I believed that everything (100%) of TV Land was wonderful. Then, after about 5 years that "wonderful" had dropped to about 90%. I found many small issues that annoyed me. That is still better than most places that I have previously lived.

As to the quote about knocking the media for portraying (falsely) that the nation's ICUs were being overrun by CV patients. I do NOT see that as a FALSE claim. I wish it was. Maybe not YET here in TV Land, but the REALITY is that around the country - the ICUs ARE overcrowded with CV patients. For example, Rhode Island hospitals are so full that they have put up tent-type FIELD hospitals as a necessity to handle their overflow. And, much worse, they are having staffing problems for these additional beds! Do a Google check to prove me correct.

So true, so true..... but it does have one very important element...to succeed it takes the magic ingredient; Sheeple, unthinking, unsophisticated, or uninformed, sheeple !

It just sounds like it would be depressing to watch. 3 sad stories and only 2 of the 3 are even Villages residents. Doesn't that seem ... odd?
