Default Are movie prices going up?

So far, I think the highest ticket price I've paid was $7.25 Last week I was at Spanish Springs town square and I happened to notice that the movie, "Enough Said" was priced at $9.00. Are prices going up or was there something special about that movie?

Let's get to the real issue. FOOD. You have to fill out a loan request to get steak enough to feed three.

Thanks for the information on the ticket prices, I will be sure to not go after 4:00 pm.

As far as far as the price of steak, I didn't realize it was so expensive. How much is it per pound?

Publix has Porterhouse or T-Bone steaks on sale for $7.99 a pound, a savings of up to $4.50. A pound of Oscar Meyer bacon is over $8.00!!!!!!!!
Yikes.............

VillagesPl....if you are a Villages resident, it doesn't matter what time you go. It's always $7.25 for Villagers.

If you can wait awhile, most movies can be viewed within a few months after initial release on a Red Box DVD for $1.28 or, multiple movies on Netflix for a monthly rate that is just a bit higher than what you pay for a single movie in the Theater. All in the comfort of your home, with less expensive pop corn and no parking problems or folks on their cell phones.

Prices at the theater seem to rise every few years.

Our trips to the movie theater are few are far between now days because of the alternative methods of viewing recent movies in the home.

There is hardly ever a movie that I just can't wait to see. Mostly by the time they come to Netflix I don't even want to see them any more.

The prices at the Villages movie theaters went up a few months ago to $7.25. They were $6.75 for quite some time. Still a great deal and unless you have a TV with a huge screen and great sound you will lose a lot when just viewing it on Netflix, Redbox, or Blockbuster.

That's good to know. However, I usually go with my friend who is not a villager.

I don't have a TV so I watch DVDs from the library on a portable (9") DVD player. The small screen doesn't bother me because I sit within a couple feet of it. I guess by now I have seen hundreds of movies on it.

It is nice to see some movies on the big screen (like Olympus Has Fallen-the last one we saw) but when you've stayed in and had a nice steak and a little wine, it's good to get an HD pay per view. There, I've covered movies and food.
