Default How many morons didn't understand "No Country for Old Men?"

Rolling Stone magazine, in it's review of the movies said, "only morons who didn't understand the movie will hate it.?

Monday morning on the "Today" show, Matt Lauer said "......the people who hated it, didn't understand it."

I didn't hate it. I didn't particularly like it. The acting was fantastic. It brought the horrible drama to life. However, I don't think I understood it completely. I guess I am one of the morons they spoke about.

I thought it was a great movie that I did not like. I also did not like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, or Fargo the first time I viewed them. I am sure that when I get the opportunity to see No Country again I will have a different opinion as I now have for the above mentioned Films, they are truly modern classics now.

I thought it was one of the goriest bloodiest movies I'd seen. Usually I'm not effected by blood and gore but I have to admit I needed to look away from the screen more than once.

I guess I'm one of the morons also. By the way, did someone forget to write an ending to the book and/or movie. I didn't get it.

This "profesional review" just absolutely reinforces my opinion of movie reviewers: a bunch of jaded, overindulged, perverts who are out of touch with what most "average" movie goers like or understand. They are as any other addict who require the product of their addiction to the extreme whether it be blood, gore, sex, perversion, violence or any other kind of human or animal oddity.
