I loved her in A LION IN WINTER. She won an Oscar for that role. Showed her impeccable timing and was a great cross between drama and her “brand” of comedy. She was in her 60’s at the time.

Philadelphia Story and Bringing up Baby. Anything with Cary Grant and Ms. Hepburn.

YES! Lion in Winter. My favorite too. Peter O'Toole, Anthony Hopkins, an excellent movie.

Hepburn
I really liked her in Adam's Rib. She was incredible in On Golden Pond. I also really enjoyed Bringing up Baby. My daughter loved her so much when she was little that I would say that I had a new movie for her, and she would get all excited. She would say, "Are my people in it?" Her people were Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn.

Loved so many of these, but my favorite was "The Rainmaker." From reading her biography, it's clear that one of the qualities that made her so successful was her determination to overcome failed performances by going back each time for more instruction. She doggedly trained herself for success.

Katherine Hepburn won the most Oscars of any actress
My favorite movie of hers is The Lion In Winter with Peter O’Toole. Even though he was 25 years her junior, they were great together as King & Queen. When Peter called Katherine and asked her to do the part, she replied, “Do it before I die “. She had recently lost Spencer Tracy and this movie helped her. And what a delight for all of us!
