Default Mary Poppins Returns playing at the Rialto.

Mary Poppins Returns (2018) - Rotten Tomatoes

I do wish they would probably very demand movies like this in more than one theater here in the Villages especially if the only one they are showing it is the Rialto.

The people there are friendly and the seats are OK but the screens leave a lot to be desired.

I had seen Dick Van Dyck in the play "The Music Man" in Reno, Nevada around 1981 or so. He was quite good and there was a very young Christian Slater playing a young boy named Winthrop. Dick Van Dyke - Rotten Tomatoes Christian Slater | Playbill

Thumbs up

Mary Poppins Returns was very good.

Good songs and Emily Blunt channels Julie Andrews quite well.

Just saw it last night; the music and characters were good, and it was really nice to see a couple of surprise cameo appearances. However, I thought it went on a little longer than it should of, and one song; "Can't judge a book by it's cover', though clever, had some uncharacteristic risque lyrics that were totally inappropriate for a Disney "children's" movie. Spoiled it for me.

That did sound the parents might have some explaining to do about what that meant in the song.
