Question Midway (2019).

This was not bad but a little too simplistic historically speaking for me to really enjoy it all that much.

Thumbs up

Saw Midway again yesterday as this is one of those movies that need a big screen to really get the full effect of the special effects.

Still are many people coming to see it.

If they did it any other way we would have been there for a very long time. The '76 version was better because they focused on the story, not the special effects which took a bunch of time. Having said that, and knowing the story of Midway, I enjoyed the current movie.

DVD and Blu-Ray for Midway came out yesterday February 18, 2020.

Worth a look if you like patriotic movies with a lot of action.

In my opinion, they spent a lot of money to make a very boring movie. It cost me $5.99 to rent and I fell asleep twice, and I then gave up.

I couldn't disagree more. This movie kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. It was one of the best movies I've seen in the past 3 years.

The story was compelling, the acting top notch, and the big screen really brought it to life. It was so good that I didn't even get up to go the bathroom once

My wife enjoyed it as much as I did, and wants me to buy it now for our collection at home.
