I watched all 5 seasons of Vikings, then watched all episodes of Tiger King. Then I watched all episodes of Letter for the King. I love Netflix and Prime Video, especially when I am housebound.

Lonesome Dove, Return to Lonesome Dove, all seasons of Bosch (next season coming April 17), Unforgettable (British Detective series).

Deadwood is one of the better series! Just be prepared for some hard language. The series ended way too soon for me.

I’ve been watching the TV series “Justified” on Netflix, starring Timothy Olyphant. My girlfriend keeps saying “He’s so hot!” I also recommend “Designated Survivor,” starring Kiefer Sutherland, about a minor cabinet secretary who accidentally becomes president. His devotion to honesty, honor, doing the right thing regardless of the votes, etc., is so refreshing and such a good learning experience. I think watching it should be required for everyone running for office. I also recommend “The Blacklist.” James Spader is marvelous in the lead role. And the FBI agent Lizzie grew up in The Villages (grand-daughter of the founder, I think).

Watched all of Tiger King (that guy is a psycho), into season 2 of Ozark.

We watched, “Rocketman”, and as a huge Elton John fan, I thoroughly enjoyed it. “The Morning Show” and “The Handmaids Tale” are pretty good series.

I've seen every episode of the Office so many times I can't remember, mainly the first 7 seasons with Steve Carell. They had an episode in season 7 called the Sting. Timothy Olyphant played a rival paper salesman and he was tops in the business. They set up a room with hidden cameras to see his secrets. By far, that was best Office of any.

Choro.... you broke my heart! When I read your post that Justified was on Netflix I immediately turned on the TV. Not only is Olyphant "hot", Walter Goggins is fantastic. However, I can't find it on Netflix!

Have you checked out the Hallmark channels?

Ecuadog 04-13-2020 10:54 PM

The Killing Eve series is back for a new season on BBC America, and AMC also, I think.

"Call of the Wild" on Amazon Prime. Had to buy it but it was definitely worth the price.

bumpygreens 04-14-2020 11:35 AM

"Call of the Wild", "Seven Days in Utopia", "Peter Rabbit", "The Enemies Within" (documentary).

Watched 'Green Book' because Showtime is free right now. It is a great movie. Very interesting. Read the info on it and see if it appeals to you.

Have buzzed through 87 movies, not much left. But peacock loads sometime this week, maybe there will be something new

TCM (Turner Classic Movie) channel has been mentioned a couple of times. I saw a really great one two nights ago, "Laura" from 1944. Great acting, story with a real twist that worked, I highly recommend if you haven't seen it. Directed by Otto Preminger and for his part Clifton Webb won an Oscar for best supporting, you may remember him from Cheaper by the Dozen or John Phillip Sousa story "Stars & Stripes Forever.

Dana Andrews, Vincent Price, Gene Tierney and Clifton Webb

'Bohemian Rhapsody' (Freddy Mercury/Queen). Saw for the 3rd time while on the treadmill this morning. I fast-forwarded to all the music scenes, so watched about 1:10minutes. I'm a guy, but tear up at the end...what a talent he was.

Thanks, Dan. Good movie. Still trying to wrap my brain around the ending a bit. :)

Outer Banks on Netflix. Season 6 of Bosch starts on Amazon Prime tomorrow (4/17). Billions and Homeland on Showtime. All of these are 8-12 part series so binge watching is encouraged.

Die Hard from 1988 for the 30th or so time. Saw this in Minneapolis with someone who turned to be a false friend. Kind of a bad summer for me spent in one of the toughest neighborhoods of the Twin Cities. Drug deals across the street from where I lived that summer and gun shots in those deals gone bad.

Has anyone else watched The Platform on Netflix? Disturbing and thought provoking. A lot of great movies and series on Netflix.

larbud 04-23-2020 07:42 PM

Doc with Stacy Keach and Faye Dunaway.

Golfcart2516 04-23-2020 08:17 PM

Just binge watched three seasons of Ozark on Netflix- it was so good!

tophcfa 04-23-2020 08:28 PM

No movies tonight, watching the NFL draft

Boomer 04-24-2020 04:14 PM

— Two episodes into The Morning Show and definitely hooked. It is going to be a long night. :)

The series stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell, on Apple TV.
