Default Old Mill Playhouse and Barnstorm Theater. When will they re-open?

I see that the Governor will allow movie theaters in Florida to re-open with limited capacities tomorrow on June 5, 2020.

Hopefully, this will include the Old Mill Playhouse and the Barnstorm Theater.

Walked by the Old Mill Playhouse just after noon today just after the rain had cleared with my pooch and I did not see any sign of life at the Old Mill Playhouse. So maybe the Villages are putting it off?

I wonder what capacity they would need to have in order to just break even. why reopen to just lose money

I am pretty sure they are backed by the developer.

Developers did not become multi billionaires by losing money.

Bars open at 100% capacity outside. Look for the cloud of smoke in front of City Fire tomorrow.

Hopefully the movie theaters will reopen when the backlog of new features are released.

Hope so. Not much out right now and it looks like the Tom Hanks' movie Greyhound will be on Apple's movie site.

The paper today said no date for opening yet. It doesn’t sound like any where near Monday

Do you think this generation of developer's children and grandchildren would do anything if there wasn't a boatload of money in it for them?

Do YOU think the Villages would be as nice a place to live with so many amenities and activities if developers did NOT have a profit motive????

The Villages Daily Sun has a story in the June 5, 2020 issue starting on the first page mentioning the movie theaters and the bars opening but gave no date for when the two theaters would open. Some comment about many moving parts was made by a Villages' entertainment group big-wig.
