I recall that there was a rumor that Sylvester Stallone snuck into the Red Lion Inn using a nun's habit when they were filming Stop or My Mother Will Shoot.

I did talk to a few people who might have been attached to movie making but that was usually about all the duck poop around the pathways and on the greens. Or about some other nothing matter.

Agree, don’t want to listen to a bunch of people who are not connected to the real world spouting their opinions

Some of them are great business people who are involved in a lot of things. One I communicated with on Facebook has a law degree from a prestigious French university.

And this all means what? So their crazy opinions is less crazy because of this? Actors are actors - especially while they preach to us about their pet personal views and positions. Like we should listen intently to this acting??? Big NO from us here. I respect great acting period. Anything beyond that effort stops when the movie or show stops.

Look at the background of stars like Clark Gable, Henry Fonda, James Stewart, James Garner among many others. You will see that they have very intense real life experiences. Adam Driver fits that mold.

I have seen some of these.

I have been watching Everything Everywhere All at Once and will get back to it soon.

2023 Oscar Nominations Live: '''Everything Everywhere All At Once''' Leads - The New York Times

I have only seen 2 - Everything, everywhere and the Banshees. I thought that Everything was JUST OK. I saw it a while ago and can't really remember anything particularly great about it. It is getting a lot of press so MAYBE (?) I should watch some of it again.....maybe. Now, Banshees WAS very memorable, maybe too much. I would recommend people watch it to the 3/4 point.......it was very good and I LOVED Colin Ferrell in "Farewell to Yang" an excellent and believable Sci/Fy series. Also, Ferrell has been good in every movie that I have seen him in.
......Now back to Banshees ......the last 25 % of the movie was excellent as a movie, but it got so GORY in an INTENSE manner that I wished that I had not seen the end or even from the 3/4 point. And I am USUALLY NOT put off by violence, but the violence in Banshees was not as bad as some other movies, but it was so believable that it was as if I was actually there and friends with the 2 of them. It IS hard to explain, but the movie was SO good that it was TOO GOOD. It was hard to turn away from that movie, but I wish that I had !!!!!!!! Both actors were incredible!

I knew that Jimmy Steward flew Bombers in WW2. But, I don't know about Adam Driver. He is a very good actor. I even liked him in a little movie about him being a bus driver that liked poetry.

Driver served in the Marines for just over 2 years in the early 2000s.

He was injured while training and was medically discharged as a Lance Corporal...

Eddie Albert - Wikipedia

I had found this very odd given the image of Eddie Albert I had. Never would have thought he was in one of the most violent battles of WWII Battle of Tarawa - Wikipedia and had saved a number of men. He had gone to the U of Minnesota like me. University of Minnesota - Wikipedia
