Question Papillon (2018).

I was often thinking about the Steve McQueen/Dustin Hoffman version of this from the early 1970s when watching this version.

It is better on a bigger screen though from the scenery in it.

I had read the book too 40 or more years ago.

I thought that the 2018 edition was not close in quality of the 1973 version. Rotten Tomatoes reviews are close to my own opinion .
