Just saw this today. Great movie Jennifer Hudson should be nominated/win academy award for best actress and Forest Whitaker was also award worthy.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this. J-Hud is amazing in pretty much everything she does. And this role, to play Aretha Franklin, is a custom-fit (of course, since Aretha is the one who selected J-Hud to play her before she died).

We saw this at Epic Theaters in Ocala just off I75, a bit of a drive but a brand new theater with larger than normal screens, big comfortable electric reclining leather seats, they also offer liquor service along with the usual goodies. Senior tickets are $13.00 but bargain Tuesdays are just $6.00 when you join the rewards club. We really enjoy the early shows, yesterday there were about 20 people at the 12:30 show.
