Awful! I could hardly wait for this to be over! Difficult, tedious plot to follow.

Gee, my reaction was that there was hardly any plot at all, compared to the "old" Sherlock Holmes stories and films.
But I loved this one, especially the depiction of Victorian London being so dark and dirty and difficult.

Our (adult) kids saw it while we were in TV at Christmas and never mentioned about not enjoying it. Wonder if that had anything to do with the fact that we babysat while they all did dinner and movie?

Freeda, hubs and I totally agree! This was the worst film we've seen in quite awhile. Dark, too much violence, very difficult to understand the dialog, and certainly not a movie I would recommend to anyone!!

I won 2 tickets from a local radio station here in Naples, among other items in a gift pack, and as someone else posted in another post, it still cost too much! The only thing that would have been worse, was if we had actually paid for the tickets! Save your $$ folks!
