John Huston - Rotten Tomatoes

Some of these John Huston films would be in my Top 25 films of all time.

You beat me to it, I was gonna say Chinatown, which is actually my favorite movie and I've seen over 50 times. I once owned the RCA videodisc player back in the late 70's and early 80's and Chinatown was the one I played the most. I even have it on my DVR right now.

In that movie Roman Polanski was the director, Houston only acted, but boy he was good, and the ending when the shots are fired in Chinatown (trying not to spoil the film), that was really something.

I have a wall of about 30 photos from my favorite movies and TV shows, and one of Jack Nicholson as Jake Gittes is on my wall. That's probably Jack's best role next to One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest. For those who don't know, the actor who cut Jack's nose in the film was Roman Polanski.

As far as just the films directed by John Huston, my favorite to watch is Key Largo to watch and over. The most famous is probably the Maltese Falcon, a good film, but I think a little over-rated as the storyline goes. I rather watch Key Largo.

The Villages Florida

The African Queen, Key Largo, The Man Who Would be King (I love Michael Caine).I guess I love Bogie, too.
Used to be you could see the boat that was used in the African Queen at a bar in Key Largo. Not sure if its still there.

Some new ones on the list I want to see. Thanks for the ideas!
