Default What is your favorite scary movie in honor of Halloween?

I would pick The Sixth Sense as my favorite scary movie.

For the older movies 1933s The Invisible Man The Invisible Man (1933 film - Wikipedia)

And for the newer Get Out.

I can't believe that "Hostel" is not in the top 100.

Also, "Funny Games", but that may not be considered a horror movie. They may call it a psychological thriller, but it was scary.

Hostel was definitely scary but in more of a ruthless way.

For pure Halloween horror, nothing beats the "The Evil Dead." Two was ok, the rest are garbage.

As a young kid, The Wizard of Oz scared me ****less.

That wicked witch was sitting at the end of my bed for nights!

Default Traditional choices.

As I prefer my horror more traditional and fun/scary rather than heart attack terrifying my choices include Dracula (Bela Lugosi), Frankenstein (Boris Karloff), Werewolf of London (Henry Hull), The Wolf Man (Lon Chaney Jr.) and, of course, KING KONG (Fay Wray).
There are many others that I like as well, many of which were not well known, like Horror Express for example, or House of wax.
What ever you like, have a fun and frightening Halloween.

BOO!

The Shining and Salem's Lot are both pretty scary but not on the top 100 list.

Default Scary Movies

Sixth Sense and the original Halloween. Older movie that scared me as a child was Invasion Of The Body Snatchers.

We "honor" Halloween? Is it a holiday now?
