Fun scene from Some Like It Hot:

Daphne: Osgood, I'm gonna level with you. We can't get married at all.

Osgood: Why not?

Daphne: Well, in the first place, I'm not a natural blonde.

Osgood: Doesn't matter.

Daphne: I smoke. I smoke all the time.

Osgood: I don't care.

Daphne: Well, I have a terrible past. For three years now, I've been living with a saxophone player.

Osgood: I forgive you.

Daphne: I can never have children.

Osgood: We can adopt some.

Daphne: But you don't understand, Osgood. (He whips off his wig and changes to his regular voice.) I'm a man.

Osgood: Well, nobody's perfect.

Clint Eastwood's William Money in the movie Unforgiven:

The Schofield Kid: It don't seem real. How he ain't gonna never breathe again, ever. How he's dead. And the other one, too. All on account of pulling a trigger.
William Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. You take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.
The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
William Munny: We all have it coming, Kid.

I love the old movies. The writing was incredible. It had to be because the rest of the production was very limited in what was available to support the story, ie: poor quality film, lack of color, recording capabilities and special effects, etc. Remember, the 8th wonder of the world, King Kong, was only 8 inches tall. Also, the actors we're great.
