He blew his mind out in a car.

I remember me and my friends analyzing all the details of Paul's death. Truthfully, I think Paul died when the Beatles broke up. Paul needed John to inspire him to do his best work. Like Lennon refereed to in "How do you sleep" he mentioned McCartney going from "Yesterday" to "It's Just Another Day."

I had front row seats to see Paul in concert and it was the greatest show I ever attended. Although he played Wings and his solo stuff, no body really wanted to hear "Live and Let Die". The audience was there for the good stuff. What has McCartney really done post Beatles.

I was lucky enough to see him at Yankee Stadium last summer - and it was the greatest show I've ever attended - or seen.

There wasn't a dry eye in the place when he paid tribute to George. And, of course he mentioned John. What is really nice is that as he does a song, the big screen behind the band shows clips of the Beatles as they were when they played Shea in '64.

Simply amazing to watch the people around you at one of his concerts. Teenagers who know all the words, middle aged folks screaming and jumping up and down. And then there are the older folks - and there were thousands of them - who kinda quietly mouth the words, and they have this sort of far away look on their faces - and you know exactly what they are thinking.

Even at aged 70, there is no entertainer that can touch him.....

Some people might argue that Bruce might give him a battle but Paul is unbelievable. Imagne if John were alive to be on stage with him.

You know, I bet that is exactly what a lot of the older folks were thinking (I know I was) as Paul was playing "Here Today" and then "Something".

And I'm sure Paul was thinking the same thing.
