For Paul
 
Knowing the cassette was labeled "For Paul" brings a tear to my eye. They were, together and individually, brilliant songwriters. Yoko entered the scene and John's music changed. While I still believed his lyrics were meaningful and beautiful - it lacked Paul's influence. The knowledge that this song was written - for Paul... It's like John's message from the grave.
