Default Help with recording

Don't know if this is the correct forum for this, but I have to start somewhere.
I am looking to record 5 - 10 songs. I used to have a 4-track recorder, but that was a long time ago. I am trying to record 1 or 2 guitar tracks and 2 vocal tracks, with the ability to put the results on a thumb drive. I am wondering if there is anyone who has this type of equipment that I could rent or borrow. All my previous recordings were on cassettes, and I no longer have them. My wife would like to have some recordings. Any help would be immensely appreciated.
Please PM me with any info.
Thank you

What kind of computer do you have?

Macs come with "Garage Band" which is pretty easy to record and edit...

You may have to get some adapters for direct input for your mics and or guitars...

Or, you can record using your iPhone . Transfer that to your Mac and repeat as necessary... It's a lesser quality, but it works...
