Default "Listen to the Music" presented by The Villages Pops Chorus

Hi everyone. Tickets are now on sale for our Summer concert and ticket sales are brisk. Last summer's concert was a sellout so be sure to get your tickets early. Here's some info:

The Villages Pops Chorus is back for another great summer event to take your minds off those hot days. “Listen to the Music” will be presented on Monday July 30 at North Lake Presbyterian Church, with concerts at 3 PM and 6 PM. All tickets are $15 and can be purchased at all Villages Box Office locations and on line, and will be available at the door if not sold out.
The Pops Chorus and Pops Chorus Band will be joined by special guest artist, harmonica virtuoso Phil Caltabellotta. Phil will join the Chorus on “What a Wonderful World” and will perform selections with the band as well. Other great songs include “The Power of Love” the big Huey Lewis and the News hit; “My Heart Will Go On” from the movie “Titanic”; standards “Skylark” and “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head”; and the Bee Gees smash hit “How Deep Is Your Love”. You will also be treated to a medley of songs from the 60’s that are just plain fun! Once again, a 12-piece band comprised of some of the best musicians in The Villages will accompany the 125 voice chorus. As usual, the Pops Chorus promises a concert full of fun that will raise your spirits and have you tapping your toes and humming along.
Proceeds from the concerts will benefit Villages for Veterans, and New Vision for Independence. The Villages Pops Chorus is a 501c3 organization which has contributed over $83,000 to local charities since 2014.
