Why can't you listen to his music anymore? The man died, not his music.

In his song “Paradise by the French Fry Warming Lights”, “Stop Right There” should have referred to the buffet table. R I P to yet another Covid related casualty.

It's not confirmed that he died from Covid or Covid-related illness. Only one media outlet (TMZ) made that statement, the others are all just regurgitating that. Cause of death is still not officially announced to the public.

HOWEVER

If he did die from COVID or COVID-related illness, my comment would be:

If only he had known about vaccines and chosen to get them...

(because he was solidly, vocally, and vehemently anti-vax).

He was a very ill man with a lot of different serious ailments . He was about to undergo three operations to improve a diseased spine and repair renal damage. Plus his heart was in such poor shape that doctors warned him years ago he could die on stage if he continued to perform. Stop pushing your COVID hysteria

His music hasn't died. Why would you think his music is gone? Music lives forever. You must mean that you bought a ticket for his live show?

Laughing. I assume you mean “Paradise by the Dashboard Light.”

He was genuinely a nice man. Had a bit of a temper, but would come back after he got angry and apologize. The first time I met him was 1978, August at the RCC concert. I was a kid just entering HS. Seems like so many of those who were in our memories as we grew up have been passing on. Predictable but sad just the same.

I don’t agree with his stance on the Covid Shot. I have one person in my family who feels the same way as Meatloaf. I’m sad for both of them no doubt.

Meatloaf was an extremely talented man who brought back so many memories of my teenage years.

I love to laugh more than most people and I like corny jokes and just about any brand of comedy.

Your post is terrible. Funny to some but another human being just died. I’m surprised it’s still here. I’m so upset I could spit chicklets.

Look it up. The thing he won’t do for love is hurt the girl he’s singing with.

Rest In Peace!

True. No more composing.

Now, just de......(nah!)

But yes, he was a true loss, not just music-wise but also acting, which he was not nearly as well-known for. I particularly enjoyed him the the Steve Martin movie "Leap of Faith".

He will be missed.

Rest In Peace, "Mr. Loaf" (as the NY Times used to refer to him as).
