I can't tell you why (original recording session, 1979)

Compare above performance to this.

That voice has endured 41 years of touring and studio sessions as shown here, May 2020, WOW!

What were they thinking with that drum part? It's distracting.

My #1 band of all time. Love the Eagles. Can’t really pick a favorite. If it’s the Eagles, it’s my favorite.

The Eagles are THE BEST. I saw them twice in Atlanta for the Hell Freezes Over tour. Timothy is one of my favorites.

I always consider this iteration of the Eagles as the second one because Tim joined the band and changed the complexion of their music and songs. After Tim arrived, the music seemed to have a much more "Poco" feel to it (not bad, just different). Loved Tim in Poco and in the Eagles. Check out Keep on Tryin in Poco. One of Poco's finest...Poco - Keep On Tryin' - YouTube

I must have worn the grooves out on Head Over Heels LP.

Beatles first, Eagles second favorite for me. My favorite Eagles tune is "New Kid in Town" which in 1976 won the Grammy Award for "Best Vocal Arrangement for Two or More Voices". Great harmonies was something the Eagles were best known for!
