Default Newer music for me

Reflective of the fact that I am probably 15-20 years younger than most people on this forum or in TV, I like the 70's to current music. Michelle Branch, Alicia Keys, One Direction, Gotye. Never did care for Country and Western...seems depressing to me, although there are some fabulous Country singers out there. .Once in a while I get a smile when I hear the music my parent's used to listen to.....Glen Miller, Pasty Cline, Herb Albert. Kinda fun to be taken back to when I was a little girl. Music is fun and we are lucky there are so many talented artists out there providing us with many varieties to listen to!

Default April 14th Church on the Square

Chance to hear an excellent Soprano (and a couple great of Tenors) April
14th at Church on the Square. I've heard the Soprano and on a scale of 1-10(with 10 being the best) she's a 10!

I love almost all types of music except for rap.

My latest favorite is "The Prayer" with Celine Dion and Josh Groban.

Let's face it - if the label doesn't say Lennon/McCartney - it isn't really music.

Great! I still have a working eight track player. The freshest thing I've heard lately is Live At The Rainbow 1974 by Queen. Play the Blue Ray concert DVD and discover how good the band is live. If you are not a Queen fan, listening to them live will probably change your mind.

Default Fiddle/Irish music?

Hi all - great forum!! Was wondering if anyone on here plays fiddle and could play some Irish tunes at an assisted living on St. Patrick's Day? It would be a noon-time event. Let me know if you are interested and/or if you know of anyone. Thanks! Becky
