A lot of people want to get on with their lives and quit living in abject fear over a virus that has a 99.9% survival rate.

Not a problem
No - I do *not* feel uncomfortable at all attending these great events and seeing people enjoying life and purpose - responsibly. I love it!!! I just moved here from a state with significant lock downs and felt my purpose in life was non-existent and my physical and mental health was declining fast...... I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to see life and have purpose again! We all face death - everyday - and must guard against many things (yes, we encounter many diseases, accidents, crime- a bunch of threats every day - COVID is just one of many things) - but that doesn’t mean our lives are over and we must remain locked up in seclusion! Once we get to the point that our only option is to stay confined in the home with no face-to-face human contact - what is the purpose of our existence? Thank you for the wonderful events!!! Thank you!!! And for those who do not feel comfortable - stay home and know *** you can always reach out to those who are not afraid - to be there for you - if you need assistance with anything. ***

That was last February, wasn't it? No masks in sight. How was yesterday's attendance?

Curious with so many wearing masks the fear factor is still there. I believe a huge amount of people are fed up with this fear. , if you have underlying health issues protect yourself . Open air venues are fairly safe environments.

And the mask debate continues on another hijacked thread, repeat, repeat.....

Great to see people enjoying life.

This virus has put a crimp in our golden years for sure, but if you feel the need to mingle in large groups or not wear a mask by all means do, I mean that's what freedom is choice. "sarcasm"

Great Comment I feel the same as you if you have not lived in a “lockdown state” for the duration of this pandemic, you will not understand the mental toll the lockdown takes. |
