I have seen the current War once live and have seen Lowrider countless times on The Blues Cruise. Lowrider has Howard Scott, Lee Oskar, and Harold Brown from the original War while Lonnie Johnson is the only original member in the current War lineup. Lowrider is awesome and plays with passion. They perform at least four times on each Blues Cruise and I make a point to catch every set. War is now just a cover band and, in my opinion, not worth going to see.

It's too bad that lawsuits and bickering caused the split happened to "why cant we be friends".

The only reason I saw War was because they were touring with Cheech and Chong...the real reason I went to the show.

War rocked the Savannah Center last night. Original member lead vocals/keyboardist Lonnie Jordan kept the audience totally engaged in the performance. The rest of the band was as good as it gets and got plenty of recognition.

From Me And Baby Brother to Gypsy Man and the hits in between the evening was non stop entertainment.
