Eagles Hell Freezes Over at Shoreline in Mtn View, CA - in center lower section about 2 rows in front of boxes (daughter of a co-worker worked for Bill Graham, promoter). My wife sent out our 10 YO son up to get an autograph from Stephen King and he came back 10 minutes later and said the man signing autographs said he was Stephen Wozniak: no autograph.

Paul McCartney at Berkeley Memorial Stadium a few months later. Last song, "Hey Jude" (my wife's name is Judy aka Jude) lasted about 30 minutes.

#1 - Pink Floyd, 1973 Jacksonville, Fl (Dark Side of The Moon Tour .... that say's it all)
#2 - Roger Waters. 2010 Atlanta (The Wall tour ... amazing production!!)
#3 - The Grateful Dead, 1974 The Cow Palace, Daly City, Ca (1st concert using the famous "Wall of Sound")
#4 - SRV, 1988 Antones (the old original one), Austin Tx (private show & I was in the right place, at the right time, hanging with the right people)
#5 - The Who, 1976 The Gator Bowl Jacksonville, Fl (stadium was about 1/2 full because high ticket prices (for 1976), the band was mad and transformed that anger into an amazing show ... and Keith Moon was still alive!)

Neil Diamond when he recorded "Hot August Night" at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles early 1970's (what an amazing venue!)

Paul McCartney with Wings over America at The Cow Palace in San Francisco 1976

Pink Floyd "The Wall"at Oakland Coliseum late 70s

Correction: Thanks to LndLocked's post for reminding me that the Cow Palace was in Daly City, NOT San Francisco. I was a misplaced San Diego guy living in San Jose at the time, what did I know about the Bay Area? LOL I remember my future wife to be was at school at UCLA at the time and was so upset that she couldn't go see Paul also.

Daly City is adjacent to SF - a few blocks east is Candlestick in SF.

But Daly City folk can't use SF resident only amenities.

As long as you were just driving through Colma, all was good. DC snd South City weren't part of SF but few really knew where one ended and the other began.

(For those who don't know, Colma is known for having nothing but cemeteries.)

What was the greatest live entertainment show you ever saw?

Sat very near the stage at a Billy Joel/Elton John concert in St. Louis. Incredible.

KISS in St. Paul. Pretty average as artists go, but what a show. Especially in that era. AC/DC opening for Cheap Trick before they were big in the U.S. Yeah, the demographic of TV is starting to change. Sorry.

A local promoter didn't realize that KISS had a teenie bopper following and booked Wendy Williams and the Plasmatics as an opening act for them in Biloxi, Mississippi. Lots of kids came with their moms. Wendy came out wearing two pieces of electricians' tape and the world's skimpiest G-string. I was fortunate to be a stage hand for that show.
