Default Yes and Styx. Denver 1984.

Rick Wakeman - Wikipedia

I saw Yes and Styx in concert in Denver, CO around 1983-1984. They are still memorable even if I could be mixing up some of the bands that played and the musicians.

Big YES fan here. I attended a concert every year from around 1977 til Jon Anderson had to leave for illness, in early 2000's. Saw them again when Trevor Rabin performed for the 90125 tour, and again when Rick Wakeman's son Oliver performed with them in 2011.

Saw Genesis once, but that was post Peter Gabriel, it was the big huge reunion tour and I have the CD from Starbucks that was released the same year; it's on regular rotation in my car.

I don't remember if I ever saw Styx live. I don't think I did. Definitely a fan though.

I've enjoyed YES in concert too. In the early 2000's they even had a tour with an orchestra!

In the early 1970's attended a show in Mannheim, Germany. The auditorium was jammed, we had to set on the floor as there were no seats left. The band had absolutely huge speakers that made the concrete floor vibrate and almost made my ears bleed. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

That sounds familiar.
