Kevin Costner is not in 1883. He is in Yellowstone.

YouTube tv has Paramount

Jimmay 12-25-2021 08:16 AM

I was looking forward to it until all the “f” bombs. Totally unnecessary. Not my kind of show.

If you happen to have Xfinity TV package, you can install the free version of Paramount & it automatically warps into the paid version of P+. I don’t know how this works, but it does and there is no extra cost for the Paramount package. Since learning this, I’ve binge-watched all four seasons of Yellowstone in this way without increasing my bill, and now 1883.

We have xfinity. Are you saying we can get the paid version of p + for free?

So we found out we could see regular paramount and watch 1883. Loved first show.

Now to see episode 2 we need Paramount plus. Apparently we can get it via Xfinity at no extra cost by having them send us a new modem. Only problem is they cannot guarantee that by installing it we will not lose the shows we have previously downloaded.

Anyone else run into this?

So this morning called Xfinity. According to the lady answering the phone we get a new box for no additional charge but do get to pay extra for Paramount.

No thanks paying enough already for cable.

Once again, if you have the regular Paramount (NOT Paramount +) channel on your cable or streaming service, you are able to see both Yellowstone AND 1883...

I just checked my guide, Season 1, Episode 2 of 1883 is showing tonight at 9:15 pm...

Yes, 1883 episode 1 and 2 were on the regular Paramount, however, the rest of the series is only available on Paramount-Plus (+). They did the same thing with The Mayor Of Kingstown.....I, for one, am not happy that they suck you in with a couple of "free" episodes, then move it to an extra paid subscription!!

I recorded the 1st 2 episodes. Probably will never watch them if I'm required to pay more money to continue watching.

Even worse when they move a show we are watching (Seal Team) from free tv (not exactly free when we pay over $ 100 per month) to paramount plus.

The commercials that pop up during the show all say that STREAMING is on Paramount +. That is their "on demand" service...

We'll see next Sunday if they broadcast the show following Yellowstone as they're currently doing...

A have Yellowstone set to "record series" on my Direct TV. I'll do the same for 1883...
