Default The Bible On The History Channel...

Has anyone been watching "The Bible" series on the History Channel? I have enjoyed it immensely. It's the first time in years that I've actually "made an appointment" to watch TV.

How long has it been running. Is it possible to watch it from the beginning at this point?

The last episode is on Easter Sunday. It's really good.
During the show I saw an ad saying that the show will be available on DVD in April.
I surely getting it.

consecutive episodes ran on tv today. I think the series is well done...but am guessing the ending is gonna be the same as the book!

It is a 5 part series and it is very well done. Amazon is now taking advanced orders of the DVDs that will be released in April.

If you miss the Sunday night original showings they are rerunning the episodes on co-owned networks during the week. Lifetime Movie Channel runs it tonight (I think) and then on another cable outlet Tuesday night and so on. History Channel is also running previous episodes during the course of the week. As they say..."check your cable listings".

If I understand correctly on Easter Sunday History will air all 5 episodes in order ending with the final episode starting at 8pm, so if you have a recorder you can record all 5.

Taped them but have not watched more than ten minutes or so. I'll have to get to them at some point.
