Try CordCutters. It is an App on my phone. It may change your mind about the prices in the future.

YouTube TVoffers most if not all the "cable channels" you will want, and most all of the local channels. I particularly like it as I live in The Villages part time and Kansas City part time, and get the KC local channels in both places - plus it is portable so don't have to pend in one place and activate in the other. For local channels I have a power antenna in TV.

Some people cannot live without Hallmark, which Youtube TV doesn't offer. I love the chick flicks.

I have DirectV Now and two homes. It knows where I am and only picks up the locals in there area I am at. Are you saying you can tell YouTube the area you want it to pick the locals from regardless of where you are using it ? I would like that if true.

To update your location on your TV:
Open the YouTube TV app on your TV.
Select your profile photo.
Select Settings > Area > Current Playback Area.
On your mobile device, navigate to tv.youtube.com/verify.
Allow the website to access your device’s location (if you haven't already) to update your current playback area.

Only allows you to update to current location as far as I can find.....

That is how Directv Now works. To clarify what you can't do is pull into Washington and tell it you are in Atlanta. It knows you are in Washington and will only allow those local stations.
