Default The Crown - Season 3

It's almost time for Netflix to begin airing the third season of "The Crown" ... on November 17. Olivia Colman takes over the role of Queen Elizabeth, and Tobias Menzies plays Prince Philip. I will miss Claire Foy and Matt Smith as the Queen and Prince Philip, but it was understood from the beginning that they would only appear for Seasons 1 and 2.

Looking forward to seeing Season 3 as it has been almost a two year break since Season 2 was released.

I will have to watch those two seasons at some time. I am a big fan of Claire Foy.

Do like Olivia Coleman too though.

It's a great series. Season 3 starts in 1964, and according to Variety, it will go to 1976. Season 4 will cover the wedding of Prince Charles to Princess Diana, and Margaret Thatcher becoming the UK's first female prime minister, so season 4 will take the series into the 1980's.

I wonder if the Royal Family watches the series.

I discontinued my Netflix earlier this summer, about a week later it dawned on me I wouldn't be able to see The Crown so will restart it next week!

Looking forward to season 3. With the Queen's longevity I might be saying the same about season 10 one day. [emoji6]
