I feel the same way. Enjoyed first 3 seasons, then S4 really turned me off. I don’t even like to think about it.

Seems to happen pretty often. Designated Survivor was another one.
New writers, maybe?

I struggled through this season because of the gore, but at least I could follow the story. But, I was completely lost in the finale. Don't know what the lady with the knife said.

She was getting revenge for her lady friend who was killed in the train station. The killed character had sent the two fugitive lovers there to catch a train to Philly.
