Default Cutting the cord

I am thinking about how to cut the cord. I have a smart phone, Amazon Prime, and Amazon fire sticks and Smart TV.

I have tried Play Station Vue and think that could replace my Comcast account. With a second smart phone connected to home phones we could delete Century Link phone service even with a son in Brazil.

My problem relates to internet service. I currently have 3 Meg service bundled with phone from Century link. Not a very high speed but about $25 as a part of a bundle. Told by Century link that this service alone with no TV or phone would be $45 plus fees.

What other options are available for internet omly service and speed and price.

If you are between 466 and 466a, you may be limited to Comcast and Century Link, and Century Link can only provide 10 mbs in our case. So, Comcast for internet is the only choice for us.

Check with Comcast ... You want the basic package with internet ... Local Stations only and Standard Def (NOT HD) and internet will cost about $50/month - cheaper than Internet only service.

check out ... Suppose | Compare Cable, Satellite & Streaming TV Services ... you select the channels you REALLY want and the site will give you the best choices for you ...for instance, Directv Now now has a $40/month package with over 50 'Cable' channels for $40/month but there are many other choices

hope this helps
