Unhappy Hawaii Five-0 will end at 240 episodes aired.

‘Hawaii Five-0’ to End After Current Season on CBS – Variety

Sad to see this show come to an end.

I really liked the details often in some of the episodes.

I liked the scenery ... BUT.. the show had run it's course way to many characters involved and many weeks it had no actual story line... IMO

Never as good as the original. Too many visiting characters and who really needs a try to be funny sidekick.

Aren't most network shows the same? In fact, wasn't the original the same? Not sure of your point

Ah, but ... the scenery shot for the series are from open door helicopters - wonderful ideas for paintings on canvass. I rode in one of those helicopters. The pilots are usually vets, very, very skilled. One time we came so close to the surface of the ocean I could almost reach out and touch a whale’s tail. The only thing is the whales did not like the sound and dove when we got near enough.

There has been a lot of cross-over in these two shows of late.

True. And it seems to have been the choice of the lead actor to move onto something else.

Default Last 3 seasons not as good

I enjoyed the first 7 seasons...when they got rid of Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park 3 seasons ago that was a big mistake. Their replacements were not nearly as good. I only watched the show sporadically the last couple of years. Why did Scott Caan get that crazy haircut? It had a good run, but it was time to let it go.
