Thought that was a little more interesting. But I still miss the five game max win. I think it is too daunting to go up against a Jennings or a Julia or a Chu or Matt after they've won so many games.

You can't be in the champions tournament if you played the week before it. I'd love to see this kid beat Jennings' 74 game streak but I don't want to wait another year to see him play.

It is going to be fun to see Matt vs. Ken in the near future. I think Matt will wipe the floor against Arthur or Julia. Not so sure how he will do against the guy who won the tournament of champions last year.

(Do you get the feeling I REALLY love that show?)

I was watching the Cubs win against St. Louis. Go, Cubbies! I suppose Matt Jackson won again last night?

We always watch Jeopardy if we are home.

I am taken with some commonalities among those really smart contestants. One is that many are not dressed very attractively or have up to date haircuts. Another is that many do not hold the REALLY successful jobs that one might expect from such smart people.

I think really smart people sometimes are burdened with so much astute information about the world and are not as comfortable and happy as dumb people like me.

And that could be sour grapes.

I knew a lot of people in law school who did para-legal work of some kind before attending the University of Minnesota Law School. There were taking a break before the hard task of that First Year of Law School where you are not allowed to work. At least, that was the rule when I was at the University of Minnesota in 1986-1989.

Matt Jackson now could skip law school with all the opportunities that his wins on Jeopardy will give him.

Matt Jackson is super smart. Last episode I saw, he just bet enough so the next contestant would have $1 less, assuming they both got the question right. They both were wrong so Matt won again.

I wonder how many books these people have read, to have such large amounts of info, stored in their brains.

Looking forward to see how far he goes and if he will ever lose!

They have to be avid readers. Also they seem to find time to watch a lot of TV. some of the TV shows that they are familiar with I have never even heard of.

Matt luck finely ran out, he didn't hit the double in the last round, and he missed the final guestion and vet it all, he had 200 dollar lead and probably thought he could answer the last question. They all got it wrong and he lost! I be watching for the tournament of champions?

I felt really disappointed. I am not a big sports fan so I don't get much in to the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat but I felt bad after he lost.

It's a good site. I've been playing these games since 2007 and have written a number of quizzes... mostly oldies music related.
I applied for the original Jeopardy back in the early '70s when Art Fleming was the host. Did ok with the test, but wasn't selected.

Not sure how often you can take the Jeopardy online test.

As to FunTrivia I have written a few Quizzes too. One of the favorites is the one on Blackbeard the Pirate.

My son was off from work one day and watched Jeopardy.

It was later aired that day and he watched the show with his wife. He was answering all the questions right, and she was amazed at how smart he was.

He finally fessed up he watched it earlier in the day.

Yikes. Tough quiz. I know little about pirates... and it showed from my score. I only got 9 out of the 25 correct. But at least I've learned some (useless) info about another subject. Very strange quiz subjects.
