Default Johnny Carson TV

If anyone else can’t stand the current crop of late night TV shows, you might want to look into Pluto TV (free on Roku, Apple TV and probably fire stick). I noticed today that they are carrying the Johnny Carson TV channel. In my opinion he was the best.

We watch Johnny almost every night.

The current nite-time talk shows are trash and mostly political.

I whole heartedly agree, Johnny was funny, never vulgar or offensive.

ahhhh, the memories. The 'current crop' --- is more like the 'current crap'.

I LOVED 'Carnac The Magnificient'.

Saw Johnny in Person on a visit to Burbank, California. Great show. As I remember, none of the talk show hosts were biased one way or another toward a political party. They might occasionally have a guest that was.

They insulted everyone which is the way it should be done.

He was the best. Terrific interviewer, especially with kids. I guess in real life he was a really nasty individual, but that never came through on TV. I miss his kind of interviewing. And so funny in his skits.

The era of late night TV shows has changed so much. They are all politically driven. Johnny Carson was the best. I had a lump in my throat when he said good bye on his last show. Thanks for the tip about Pluto!

Too bad we can't see re-runs of Jack Parr or Steve Allen. I do enjoy Johnny Carson.

I agree but look at Late Night TV. All they do is bad mouth one or another political party instead of entertaining us. Late Night TV has become a National Convention Debate. Cable Co. have become a joke for us consumers. Programming is trash!

I remember Steve Allen discussing his shows and why they don't show the reruns of his show. They didn't save the tapes, they threw out the tapes of his show. What a shame because he was hilarious. Do you remember his "man on the street interviews" with Louis Nye. And "How's your fern?" which meant nothing but was so funny.

Thanks for this information. Like you I’m not happy with TV. And I loved Johnny Carson.
