Poll on how many days James on "Jeopardy" will win?
He has won 17 times on Jeopardy. How many days do you think he can win?
I have been very optimistic about how long he can last on Jeopardy with respect to how long the poll will be open. I think he will go 48 days. Last edited by Taltarzac725; 04-28-2019 at 05:45 PM. |

Is jeopardy really still on TV? I guess I don't watch TV much anymore.

He'll get bored with it after about 30 days. By that time he'll be so far ahead of that Jennings guy, boredom will set in.

No more than 30 I think. They will set him up to fail. You'll see. He's gonna bet everything on Transportation as the Category and the question is going to be about a Round A Bout, Nobody ever gets those questions correct! He'll have $20 going into Final Jeopardy. Maybe they will forget to recharge him overnight. (Robot)

I think the answer is obvious. James intends to beat Ken Jennings’ record of 74 consecutive wins. Although Ken is amazing whenever he reappears on Jeopardy, James is a lot quicker with his answers. With the spike in viewers, I doubt that Jeopardy would be eager to see James’ winning streak end. They’ll surely be bringing him back in tournaments.
The next question should be will his notoriety affect his avocation as a sports gambler? If sports gambling is legal in Vegas, maybe there’ll be no effect. Any thoughts? |

Shouldn’t affect his sports gambling other than his notoriety when he enters the betting room.
Right now, he’s pretty unstoppable. Jennings wants James to break his record and James certainly has the ability. Can’t wait for the next Tournament of Champions. Brad, Ken, James all pitted against each other. And then there’s the “second” tier with Buzzy, et al. Should be a lot of fun to see.

I agree with the boredom comments, but keep in mind this is a professional gambler - he knows he has a really huge edge here, much better than any legal gambler ever gets in Vegas, so he'll suck it up and keep on truckin. I'm betting he goes way past Ken Jennings in dollars and wins.

Yes, very close call Monday. The show was filmed last February. The challenger is from the Boston area, he, his family and friends were on the 11 o'clock news watching the prerecorded show. His last name is Levin and is a professor at Brandeis university.
