Did he die from Covid? I just read he had passed.

We lost one of our Village neighbors this past Sunday to Covid-19. This new strain seems to be dangerously contagious. I noticed that we were at 74 deaths from Covid-19 in Sumter County just after Thanksgiving and now the death toll yesterday was 171. PLEASE BE CAREFUL all of you. I know you know, but this is SCARY.

used to watch Larry quite often - he was a very good interviewer and easy to listen to. But honestly, with all the turmoil in his life including smoking, multiple marriages, cancer, stroke, depression, diabetes, etc - I'm surprised he lasted as long as 87 - despite COVID.

I agree. His father died at age 46 of a heart attack. I am amazed Larry lasted as long as he did but am happy he did.

It is early for the story but the various stories I have checked do mention he had Corona Virus. And it sounds like he had a lot of underlying conditions which would make his recovery from Covid harder.

What I read is that an announcement was made on January 2, 2021 that Larry had been hospitalized with Covid ten days prior so he had it. He'd had a long history of serious medical issues including a stroke. He may have been diabetic and had been a heavy smoker for many years as I understand it.

Lost to covid? He was 87, In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask consideration of a donation to the American Heart Association or the Beverly Hills Fire Department EMS, to which a debt of gratitude is owed for the wonderful care they provided to our dad in his final years. In April 2019, he suffered an angina, which mimics a heart attack, and underwent an angioplasty. The following month, he suffered a stroke that left him in a coma for weeks. Although a cause of death was not given, King's death comes weeks after news of his hospitalization due to COVID-19 was reported on Jan 2. So yes he did have covid but to add this to the list of deaths caused by covid show just how skewed the numbers are.

Covid nothing more than a garden-variety flu virus that has been scapegoated and demonized by politicians and the left-wing press in their pocket.

Ever notice that no one has died of old age since March of last year?

A good warning and Mr. King is a good example of the susceptibility of the older population to CV. By warning people of the seriousness of CV you help all of TV Land, some of which need to take it more seriously.
