Post RIP Edith Bunker

Jean Stapleton, who made us laugh all those years as Edith Bunker, died today at the age of 90 in New York City. 'Those were the days, my friend. We thought they'd never end, oh yes those were the days'. RIP

Wonderful actress, used to love watching her and Archie spar.

Edith....stifle yourself! I guess Archie won't have to yell that at her anymore. I enjoyed her so much and it saddens me to hear of her passing.

Here's a gem of an interview with Jean Stapleton on the Archive of American Television.

Enjoy

It was my great pleasure to spend a few hours working with Jean Stapleton back in the mid 80's. She was one of the most gracious and sweet people to cross my path. Real Class!
