Yes. They do. Sex and violence sells, much to the dismay of many people. Your regular TV channels would be fined or shut down if they tried to run programs like that but do what they can. Yes it's not for everyone.

Having lived within 60 miles of Boston all my life, I've had the privilege of seeing some of the places first hand. Once, on a trip to Philadelphia with my family as a kid, I saw the hall they signed the declaration. At that time the liberty bell was in the hallway and you could touch it as you went by. I did and will never forget it.
