Default Survivor's 41st Season.

Survivor (American TV series - Wikipedia)

I used to watch this show every week but now only catch maybe 20 minutes of it here and there when flipping channels.

It was a good series until now. It has changed it's profile and now more of a social statement rather than a "Survivor" show.

I can't believe that show has "survived" this long...

After the first few years, it got boring. I'm surprised it stayed on for so long.

I watched all of the first year and most of the second. Did they switch to multiple "seasons" per year to get to 41?

I watched, and liked it, the first 3 or 4 seasons. Then, as most things, it became formulaic.

I've never been a CEO, or a C..anything and maybe there is a reason. I just don't have the personality. My parents raised me in a manner that I never took pleasure in 'screwing over' another person. I've never sold used cars, or ever posed as a Nigerian Prince.

In the world of sheep and wolves, I have either been a sheep dog or cheered for them. So many of these shows celebrate the worst in us.

When I was younger, I was so excited when a fourth TV station arrived in my home town. It was a Fox station showing old Star Trek episodes. I remember loving television back then -- so many comedies and dramas. I now have hundreds of channels and there is hardly anything I want to watch -- the least of which is reality shows.

To me all these shows are equivalent to restaurants. After a while they start to lose their luster and even if they do come up with a new menu you get bore always eating at the same place.

The series started on May 31, 2000. We've recorded all the shows and played them back via DVR, so we can fast forward thru all the BS. The show has never been great but this latest edition is awful, it has become too "woke."

Default Try Acorn TV

We watch a lot of Acorn TV. It’s about $6 a month but so worth it. Great series. Clean shows. No commercials. Mostly Australian and British TV. Doc Martin, Poldark, A Place to Call Home, Republic of Doyle, Murdoch Murder Mysteries, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mystery. And lots more. Good stuff.
