We just finished the third season of Victoria via Prime. Story of Queen Victoria and her life and times in the 19th century.

Very well done and hope to find additional season if they were done.

We enjoyed New Tricks. Try Nurse Jackie, Doc Martin, Offspring, Shooter, The Good Witch, Heartland, Undercover, Peaky Blinders, Longmire, The Ranch, The Last Tango in Halifax, The Republic of Doyle, Quigley Down Under, McClouds Daughters, Hell on Wheels, outlander, Godless, Hinterland, The Sinner, Bloodline, Virgin River, Shameless, Breaking Bad, Hap and Lenard, Ozark, Anne with an E, Northern Rescue, Broadchurch, and that should keep you busy for a while.

“Oh, what a tangled web we weave,
When first we practice to deceive.”

That old rhyme pretty much sums up Your Honor, starring Bryan Cranston.

Over the past 3 nights, we watched 7 episodes. I read today there will be 10. I wish we had known that before we started it. We kept watching because we thought we would get some answers. But nooooo — not yet — Episode 7 ends without any resolution.

It is slow — others might say suspenseful.

I had to spend a lot of mental energy worrying about the sweet, sweet dog.

I had to close my eyes during the violent scenes.

There is so much coincidence and interconnection in the plot that it starts to seem a bit absurd.

There is a vicious woman who gets her mob boss husband to carry out revenge — revenge that is horribly misplaced.

Often the storyline can take you on a walk in someone else’s shoes — so that can give you something to think about.

I really don’t know if I can recommend it or not.

Boomer

I enjoy streaming, I have a News streaming show, Prime and two annual streaming channels, but do have a problem .... there is SO MUCH to watch. I went from almost nothing on Cable to overload on wiFi.

I will start with my preference: Courtroom Dramas, love them. I loved The Brief. I like police dramas. I prefer non-violent shows, but like the thrillers that make the hair stand up on the back of your neck Have just finished watching Gold Digger, a chick flick type show, I loved it.

Any ideas guys and ladies!

Watching that now. I interrupted it to watch Unorthodox, the story of a Hasidic Jew who escapes her arranged marriage. It is just one part of the memoir Unorthodox, which I'm reading right now.

I actually find some great programs through You Tube, it takes some time to wade through everything on there, but I am watching a couple of archeological programs that I love, they are great fo filling a half hour slot.

I do think Streaming is going to become much more expensive, but the content is so extensive compared to cable that it is hard to argue with the cost. My husband watched an old John Wayne last night for 99cebts ,,,, cannot beat that.
i'm streaming on Pluto tv., STILL! they have all the classic shows & movies, but then some really goof offerings in cult films, documentaries & the james bond channel. for really hard to find movies, i go to prime. i don't get netflix- & don't want it either

Default The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel & Ozark

I have had Netflix for quite some time -- I'm finally on season 3 of "Ozark." This is a very dark show and certainly not for everyone - but the cast and acting are A+. The fourth season of Ozark will be the last, according to Netfllx.

I just got Amazon Prime a few days ago (first month is free) so I could watch "Some Kind of Heaven" - the film shot in The Villages. Since I have Amazon Prime for free for 30 days, I started watching "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel." Love it. From what I have read, the story is loosely based on how Joan Rivers got started in start up comedy. If you liked "Mad Men," I would recommend "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel." There are 3 seasons of "Mrs. Maisel." The fourth season may be released at the end of this year as filming for season 4 started filming in January.

Those are good shows, Schaumburger. I'm sad Ozark ended at three seasons and can't wait for season 4 of Mrs. Maisel. Of course, we loved Schitt's Creek (really funny) on Netflix. I watched Unorthodox on Netflix, which sprung from the memoir of the same name, about a young adult female who escaped the Hasidic closed community in Williamsburg, NYC.

If you can get a free trial of Hulu, watch Little Fires Everywhere. If not, read the book.

Is this the same "Victoria" series that has been shown on PBS? That is a great series. I keep looking for the next season on PBS..

There will be another season of Ozark - season 4. I don't know when it will be available. Season 4 is supposed to be 14 episodes, split into 2 of 7 episodes each -- no doubt to keep subscribers paying $$. I will have to check out "Unorthodox" on Netflix.
