I have been watching some of the Seinfeld episodes. Are there some you would especially recommend?

The hour long The Boyfriend with Keith Hernandez was quite funny.

When the lockdown started I started binge watching some shows beginning to end among them was Seinfeld. Also Justified, Rescue Me, M*A*SH*, Cheers and Frazier. May gave been a few others I can't remember.

So many

I love this show. Let's see...when Kramer adopts a highway and wants to improve it, the thank you wave, Elaine in the nail salon, the low flow showerhead and trying to buy one from a person's van....the list is long.

the anti dentite was a very good one

If you liked Seinfeld, you probably like the Larry David show Curb Your Enthusiasm. A Villager wrote a fantasy episode entitled, “Do-It-Yourself Larry” which, I believe, is quite funny. Go to: Curb Your Enthusiasm - Fantasy Episodes and see for yourself.

So many classic moments/scenes that really stood out:
No soup for you
Master of domain
Shrinkage/ugly baby episode
Spare a square
Sponge worthy
But our favorite Seinfeld bit ever was the rental car reservation rant. Priceless and so true!

Topspinmo 08-02-2020 11:15 AM

Can’t spare square. Kramer’s lawyer. Kramer and Newman’s vinyl record scheme.

-Kramer's "I'm out!" :)
-The barking dog
-"Oh...they're real!"
-George--The Marine Biologist

George’s Parking Spot

All of these have me smiling just thinking about these episodes again!

One more is where George proudly gets a prime parking spot by the hospital only to have a guy jump out of a window onto his roof! I still call it the Costanza Spot when my sweetie gets a good parking place.

How about the manzier, George trying to get reimbursed for the flight for that funeral,
Kramer in the too tight jeans, losing the car in the parking ramp, looking at the cool apartment with the walk in closet, working out with the Mendalbom guy, any of Elaine’s jobs....

Festivus For The Rest Of Us

Without a doubt one of the best. Not Christmas time but still one of the best. Don't miss it.

I have all 180 episodes on cds. A great birthday gift from my son.

I have to say all are fantastic except the one where Georges fiance dies and the last episode of the trial I didnt like.

jacksonbrown 08-02-2020 05:48 PM

One of my favorites, Kramer sings with Mel Torme after a jaw full of novocaine, would today, never get past the censors.

It's no wonder that Jerry now refuses to work the college campuses.

I've heard one of my best friends relate "my entire life has been a series of Seinfeld episodes".

I agree

Always wondered why they killed her off instead of just ending the relationship.

She was very difficult to work with as I understand it.

Still watch these shows today! Since everything else is so depressing, maddening, etc., these days I just select a random episode and escape the real world for awhile.

Love Curb also. Another season is coming soon.

I've always wondered what a Seinfeld club here would look like...

"Oh yes. Give me the insurance because I'm going to beat the crap out of this car."

"Other drivers? Your whole business is based on other drivers."

There have been so many great lines that have come out of that show.

What was the title if the episode where Kramer challenges the car sales man to see how many miles past empty the car will go on the warning light then Kramer bails on him?

They were all great! What incredible imaginations the writers had.

Character actor Reni Santoni, who played Poppie the restaurant owner on Seinfeld, has died at the age of 81, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Santoni passed away Saturday while in hospice care in Los Angeles following years of health problems that included cancer. R.I.P.

He was the guy who failed to wash his hands after using the Men's Room. The episode was called "The Pie".

The four main characters had such great chemistry together.

And the supporting actors like Jerry and George's parents, Uncle Leo and Newman added so much

The Manzier, Kenny Rogers, Summer of George

Remember Kramer coming up with a bra for men called the "bro" or "Manzier"?

Also, the one with Kenny Rogers Roaster restaurant where Jerry and Kramer temporarily switched personalities! Jerry stayed in Kramer's apartment with some ventriloquist dummy named Mr. Marbles and Kramer gave out advice. So funny!:clap2:

Also, the Summer of George.

Love Seinfeld! :bigbow:
