CNN just lost a lawsuit for defamation against a veteran who was evacuating people when the US military quickly abandoned Afghanistan.

During the trial some of the internal messages of CNN revealed a great deal of animosity by the staff. The producer commented that the main subject of the piece had a "punchable face". The correspondent said "We gonna nail this Zachary Young mf*****," about him.

Most news programs today have conservative or liberal leanings. It only becomes a serious problem when accuracy falls victim to promoting their ideology.

So strange. In the 1930s, the Nazis had to outlaw radios that recieved more than the Nazi propoganda stations. These days, people voluntatily limit themselves to the propoganda stations.

ABC, NBC and CBS are hardly propaganda stations. Take a good hard look at the Nazis and their propaganda of targeting groups Germans saw as outsiders, their rabid Nationalism and their use of wide spread hate speech.

That sounds like a just verdict. But individual or small group biases happen. Critical thinking and facts matter.

Love the Steve Hartman segments. Especially that one about the football player and the book club. I believe that one could predate when Nora O'Donnell was anchoring.

These "biases" cost CNN 5 million dollars plus a punitive award that was settled by the plaintiff and defendant. It also destroyed the mans business and reputation which hopefully he can restore.

The truth don’t matter, it’s what I want to hear…. Actually news anchor’s gets paid to represent the company, actually news is just way to covert the audience with their side of story.

Is the operative word in this quote is "little"?

That's the very definition of Irony.

News bias

I agree that Fox could be a little biased to the right but MSNBC and CNN are super biased to the left! Along with the MSM. I just saw on meet the press where somebody was bitching that Trump didn't bring down grocery prices yet! Huh?
I periodically switch from Fox to MSNBC and CNN to see how stories are presented by the other networks. It seems since Trump got in the others never even show him like when he was talking to the people in LA from the fire. Nothing on MSNBC about it. So I ask everybody to periodically take turns what a big event happens. Watch for 30 minutes and see for yourself what you think

To get back to the original post.. I think of that old adage when I think of O'Donnell leaving, don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.:MOJE_whot:
