Can't recall the title of the TV program in which Susan Sarandon played the President of the United States. Great show.

Used to enjoy This is Your Life with Ralph Edwards. A real oldie.

HOWDY DOODY!!!!

How could I have forgotten Howdy Doody?

And now the song just got stuck in my head.

I was one of those skinny, picky eater kids. (got over it) My mother would not let me watch Howdy Doody until I ate everything on my plate.

One time I told her, "Howdy Doody will wait." Well, of course, he did not. But in 1980 I think it was, I saved up to buy a Betamax so that they all would "wait." I guess I was just ahead of my time back in the 50's.

Howdy Doody seems to have had a lot of influence on my life.
